What We Do
Centre for Equality and Diversity (CfED), formally known as Dudley Race Equality Council (DREC) are now a one stop shop for diversity strands shuch as age, gender, race, religion, disability and sexual orientation. CfED offers support to individuals and community and voluntary organisations on a range of equalities and diversity issues.

Our Priorities For 08-09:

To build awareness that the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) sector is not as strong as it should be and requires resources to change that

CfED is aiming to explore Dosti’s Axis of Influence this year.
CfED has recently been awarded the Michael Durkin Award for outstanding contribution to bringing people together and building stronger communities in Dudley for it’s Time Together Mentoring Project. Click here to find out more.
