Who We Are

The Castle and Priory Area Regeneration Board aims to serve the residents of the Castle and Priory Ward in ensuring the appropriate, timely and efficient use of all the resources available for community, social, environmental and economic regeneration, community development or improvements to the quality of life.

Our Priorities for 08-09

1) To lobby for the need for a new community centre for the Castle and Priory estate
2) To oversee the regeneration of the estate
3) To provide more positive activities for young people on the Castle and Priory estate

Castle and Priory Area Regeneration Board members have also been working hard on Dosti's Axis of Influence. Members of the board have had three sessions so far to look at their capacity to influence. By working through the Axis members have drawn up a questionnaire (to download the questionnaire please click here) for stakeholders to find out what they think and know about Castle and Priory Area Regeneration Board.

The board members have also been looking at developing a communications strategy and working on the membership of the board.
