Who We Are
 
A forum of community, voluntary and faith-based organisations working together to improve the quality of life for all residents of Brierley Hill. We are a partner in the Brierley Hill Regeneration Partnership and are responsible for engaging local people in the regeneration process.

Network Activities 08-09
Brierley Hill Community Forum supports local people to effect change in their neighbourhoods, through the creation of four 'Working Together' groups:
 
  • Working Together in Hawbush 
  • Working Together in Central Brierley Hill
  • Working Together in Pensnett
  • Working Together in Brockmoor 
 
 
Signpost Information Centre
Signpost Information Centre officially opened on 3rd November 2006 and is situated at 175 High Street, Brierley Hill.  Organisations that are located in the shop are: Job Plus, Connexions, Castle and Crystal Credit Union.  Linked premises also include the library, housing offices in Cottage Street, Age Concern and the CAB offices in Mill Street.

Hawbush Community Gardens
Hawbush Community Gardens has been set up by Working together in Hawbush and is made up of volunteers from the local community.  Hawbush Community Gardens is located in Bull Street, Brierley Hill.  It was originally an Urban Farm but the site is now managed by local people, groups supported by Brierley Hill Community Forum, the local authority and the police.
 
Local residents will be recruited as volunteer neighbourhood rangers who will play a key role in managing the site.  There are also plans to develop the following:
  • Community Gardens
  • Sensory Garden
  • Quiet area for single mothers (this links into the local school)
  • Sports facilities – multi use games area or a adventure playground
